AKJJ – Aiki Kenpo Jujustu

It’s great training here at Kime Karate with internationally recognized instructors like Renshi Paul Lopresti. This seminar with Sensei Lopresti was held on December 4th, 2015 was a great learning experience for everyone involved.

Sensei Lopresti covered curriculum based material and different irimi (entry) waza transitions back into our ne waza drills. Renshi Lopresti is a great representation of Koryu Uchinadi and Aiki Kenpo Jujutsu (AKJJ) as the instruction is always detailed and filled with links to the traditional karate practices and kata application.  He went through different positions, transitions and submissions from our ne waza drills including over 20 different chokes. If you missed this opportunity, you missed a lot!

Check out some of the pictures and the video on this page for a good idea about how jujutsu works.

AKJJ is a traditional martial arts system we offer weekly classes in. If you are interested in learning more about our jujustu program, request a free class!
